John is a creative, clear and light hearted communicator who uses stories and common experiences to explain Biblical principles and inspire listeners in their walk with Jesus. He is an experienced leader with skills in coaching and team building. An avid reader, John is the co-host of the podcast “PostEverything: remapping culture & rethinking leadership” and co-creator of the limited series podcast “Lessons from the Jungle”.

John has served churches in the Deep South, the UK, the Midwest, and most currently as the Pastor of Family Ministries at Spanish River Church in South Florida. He holds a Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis.
John co-hosts the Posteverything podcast, focused on remapping culture and rethinking leadership in a liminal age. With 60+ episodes, past guests include Andy Crouch, Lisa Fields, Helen Lewis & Steve Cuss. John also co-created a limited series podcast with his Dad about his experience in the Vietnam War.
John served as a business coach for several years with over 600 unique coaching sessions. He coached lawyers, realtors, teachers, yacht brokers, pastors & business leaders to reach their goals. John has led over 50 trainings and workshops for business teams.
